Hello, it's been a long time since I last wrote something.
I do really want to write something about this. About earthquake and tsunami that happened in Japan exactly at couple days ago. I heard it first from my friend, She said that Japan had an earthquake. I asked her about if there was tsunami or not. She said she didn't know yet. So, I was concerned but I said to her "then let's buy something first, and then watch the TV news"... We went to the mini mart near the office and when we back, the people at my office saw the news about Japan's earthquake and tsunami. I, We saw the footage about the quakes and tsunami. Scary. And then we went up and turned on the TV at creative room. We saw the news and the footage once again. I saw the footage that NHK TV had recorded, live. We saw the water swallowed everything from above, and so we knew that the quake was 8,9 magnitudes. After the mega-shock, we were informed that our country (especially in Eastern of Indonesia) was warned about the impact from the catastrophe. I did worried about the outcomes, when it arrived to certain province in our country, remembering that our country is not as ready as Japanese, and not as calm as them. We are a nation with worries and full of unpreparedness after all.
Of course, it was a headline in every media. It was a chaos. Many people are missing and dead. Late after the disaster happened, the news said that the quake was actually 9 magnitudes. After the catastrophe, actually Japan people still need to face one more obstacles. Nuclear. Radioactive radiation. And a positive possibility of radiation alert, because of nuclear reactors's had explode. As expected result from the media, we have always seeing the headline about Japan's worst catastrophe and radiation alert.
Personally, I love Japan. There are reasons behind it. I love the people because they are creative, careful from the tiniest thing, smart, complicated, strictly discipline, love their environment, very responsible. I love the culture and the history. But sometimes it's very tricky to understand the Japanese. They have a thinking that people usually don't understand. They are sometimes weird in thinking and or weird in taste of liking. But I don't think it's something to not like about. Looking at their history, I think that their history that made them who they are right now. They are a strong nation, always preparing, always learning from their mistakes, always moving on, always inventing. After all, they still have the bad side in them, but it's all right i guess. We need balance in this life.
Of course, I too love reading manga, hearing J-Pop/Rock and watching anime. I am really concerned about the mangaka, singer and seiyuu. I read about some of them that was confirmed alive. But some of them still missing or rather no news. I don't know them personally, but I love their work after all and still wanting to see/hear/watch more of their works.
After the disaster happened, various opinions or judgements occurred -of course- some of them made it jokes, some praying, some said that this is a punishment from God, some said that this is pure a natural disaster and etc. I don't really care, but I don't think the catastrophe and radiation obstacle that hit Japan lately is a joke. The people that made fun of it should really go to hell. The people who said that this is a punishment from God is really a bad prejudice... after all they have to look at themselves in front of the mirror and make an introspection before judging others. People always judging other people. I don't like when the people that believe in God, always pray, but they judge and said something not nice about others. Well, it's their freedom to say what they wants. But hey, look at the situation. Be smart. Think before you talk, take a positive act rather than just talking but no act. Silence is gold, but sometimes when you think you need to say something with a good purpose, with a concern about yourself or others, say it out loud without hesitate. Your mouth is on your face not without a purpose. Your mouth is your powerful device to hurt people and to encourage people. Use it wisely.
Well then, I hope their worst nightmare will finish sooner, and they can back to rebuild again. Starting all over again. I hope the best will come after the worst. Behind every disasters, there are always stories.. a heart warming stories... I have one of the link. It's worth to see. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3TM9GL2iLI
